of deceptions when following up a band (or something)
- deception: Army of Anyone: Maybe I was expecting too much a Filter like sounding album. But it clearly isn’t. Not even close.
- near deception: The Professionals: Again, I was expecting something else. The Neurotic Outsiders probably. But it sounds like early 80’s rock. Well, it is early 80’s rock then again.
- confirmation: Die Warzau. It sounds more modern but it keeps its noisy side and I like it, thankuverymuch. Maybe a bit darker?
And by the way, I still thinks there are some side projects or solo projects from an unknown band member of a great band that may still be underrated:
- The Neurotic Outsiders: Funny punk-rock;
- Tweaker: heavy-pop-synth-industrial. An album coming in 2007? That would be really great.
- Tommy Stinson: pop-rock songs that make my day any day.
